I havent been writing much lately. Most of the posts are just things copied and paste, random videos from youtube, and pictures with short labels. So, okay. I'll try to write something now. haha. =)
Firstly, I'll announce that I've just finished the last day of my study life in my Civil Engineering degree~! Last Friday was the last day. But ermm.. there's still final exam to come.. hehe. This week is the study week. Next week will be the first exam week, which I do not have any paper on that week... So, considered two study weeks for me =) Then, the week after that, I'll have all 3 papers together: Saturday, Monday, and last paper on Friday the 30th. Ngam ngam on the last day of the month~ Then, merdeka! lolz~ Meanwhile, for the moment, I still got another thing to hand in... the ultimate artifact.. the hardbound copy of my thesis~! haha. We have to produce 3 hardbound copies + 3 softcopies in CDs. So, yeap.. gonna be producing 'em soon~
Anyway, that was the a glimpse to the coming last days of my university life. I'm not pursuing Masters by the way.. thanks.. 4 years of experience is enough already.. hehe ;) Then, the second thing is, the past Saturday and Sunday is my first failure for Project 365. I went back home on Friday night... and I did NOT bring along my camera. So, no pictures for the next two days... plus today itself.. because I basically did nothing today other than watching Glee.. yep.. whole day on Glee.
Ok, on Saturday and Sunday, both days was spent at my future workplace.. hehe.. Jammin' Senzation music school~ Yay.. On Saturday, I got to observe some classes in progress as well as getting used to how the music school operates, seeing little kids having fun, parents coming in and out, meeting other teachers, and just simply hanging out... And I'm loving the place n the ppl already~! But the salary will be relatively lower abit.. but i dun mind.. as long as I love what I'm doing. On the next day, Sunday, I got the opportunity to teach two classes, one on drums, one on guitar. Both as replacement teacher... hehe.. and it was fun and satisfying =) to be able to help others, to get to know them, and invest in their life.. Overall, I'm definitely going for this path of life.. yayy~
Next, about Glee. I got the first Season from dear friend Hock Siang... and I onli got Episodes 1 to 10. So, today, I watched all the 10 episodes in one shot. And what I can say is.. Glee is basically a musical drama, very similar to High School Musical...
Musical-wise, it is very recommended for all musician, music lovers, and especially singers... the performances are absolutely awesome~ especially the mash-ups.
But there's a big flaw to the series. Story-wise, the series is a bad example for teens and youths. The story is filled with selfishness, greed, cheating, hatred, disunity, unfaithful love, pointless struggles, bad decision makings, and many other immoral behaviour and thinking. I know these situations do happen in our regular lives as well.. But this series is exaggerating them too much.. So, overall, Glee is a no-no.. I dont recommend it.. simply because: in everything, our attitude, behaviour, and character should be the highest priority. However good we are in music, it doesn't matter until we set our virtue and motives right... This series exposes too much of immoralities... So, again, I dont recommend watching it. Thanks.
Anyway.. this is what basically happened in the past few days of my life. =) I'm back at campus now, and I miss the music school already~ :(

Sleeping Child
Woot! Couldn't believe it! It has been nearly one week already I've been listening to Michael Learns to Rock (MLTR) songs. Ya ya.. I know... old songs.. But still.. Unbelievable! Listening to the same album every day.. for a whole week?! Have I gone crazy?
Erm... Nope. And I still haven't got bored of the songs.
I've been doing my FYP all this while; And to ease the work, I discovered that MLTR songs seem to work best for me... at least for this project la... the songs managed to keep me calm and motivated. Good! lol. Anyway, the album is MLTR 1996 - Greatest Hits Vol 1, Paint My Love.
And just an hour ago, something strike me. The song "Sleeping Child" was playing in my ears... and I happened to be listening to the lyrics.. and I realised that the words actually talk about "Childlike Faith".. hmm..

Project Fail
Finally I've done a not-so-satisfied-with video recording. haha. It's meant as a farewell dedication for my dear coursemate Zi Min, who will be leaving to Australia for student exchange program; very soon. So, this video was actually done last-minute. The whole videos was produced in about 10 hours. It was done yesterday, the whole thing. I was rushing to record and produce the video, and it took nearly the whole day. So, here's the final outcome. And I'm not actually satisfied with it. lol.

Just a Card?
Finally, promotion wins!
Litlegras, for its 10th annual concert this time, came up with such an attractive promotion design! It's just a card, actually. I mean, the ticket to the concert is a name card. But the design is really catchy. And I fall for it. lol.
First, it's a thick card... 250gsm I suppose... or 270gsm? 320?... Does 270gsm even exist? Whatever.. anyway, the thickness gives the card a more solid touch. Next, it has a modern, elegant style. Am I using the word 'elegant' for the right situation? It's designed with simplicity, which is the trend now; brief information in front and totally blank, black on the other side. Nice.

What makes it more attractive is that the main logo and texts are embossed and coated gloss! This gives the card it's texture and feel. Then, there is this Assassin Creed fella there, which makes it even more cool!.. lol. And also, the card has curved edges, which gives a rounder, more artistic, cuter and friendlier shape... lol. What kind of language am I using?
So, overall, the card is cool! And seems like I've over-exaggerated certain features of the card. Oh ya, the ticket/card costs RM5... which seems appropriate.
And I'm definitely going to the event! Hopefully they have a good sound system this time; at least better sound EQ. The previous concerts did not turn out well, due mainly to the below-average sound system.

Interactive Piano! CoOL!
We have always been watching Youtube videos as... well... just videos, right?
lol.. lame statement.. FAIL.
No, what I mean is... so far, the only ways we respond to Youtube videos are by rating it, favourite, share, subscribe, comment, and such, right?
There are only very, very few instances where we can actually interact WITH the video itself... where we can make the video respond to us right from where we are.. immediately.. by just clicking our mouse at the buttons on the video.
Ever come across any of such videos? Yes? No?
This recent one presented a really brilliant, new interactive way for users to interact WITH the video itself. MysteryGuitarMan came out with this idea of getting us to make him play notes on the guitar by just clicking on the buttons on the video. The buttons are arranged like piano keys and whenever you click any of the piano keys, the video will show him playing that particular note on the guitar. So, you click the piano keys and he will play the melody for you on the spot! No loading of any new videos! Immediately! Cool, ya? The funny thing is, you play the piano keys and guitar sounds come off... haha.
Anyway, the MysteryGuitarMan recommends playing this video in a larger screen size to be more interactive and user-friendly. So, please go to Youtube and play the video there. Don't play it here on my blog. It won't be as fun. Shooohh! And have fun playing the piano/guitar!

Went to Cameron Highlands the past weekend with coursemates, for our final year trip. Will review about the trip later. Still got other stuffs to settle. Same reason why there hasn't been any post for the past few days.

Anyway, I played guitar for CF last night. When I was given the list of songs for practice, I was not familiar with the song "I See Grace". So, I went to search on Youtube. And guess what I found? It was a 2 year old boy worshiping God with a genuine heart.
